EMS/Fire Science

GSCC and Calhoun County Schools have partnered to provide an amazing opportunity for those students wanting to pursue a career in the Emergency Medical Services program. The EMS program is designed for students who desire a career in pre-hospital emergency medicine. The goal is to prepare competent entry-level professionals in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains, with or without exit points at each level. The program provides the successful student with the theoretical and practical preparation to obtain entry-level positions in the EMS workforce.

This is a dual-enrollment course through GSCC. Scholarships are available; however, students will need to apply and meet minimum requirements. Courses will be taught at the Anniston Fire College.
