At the Calhoun County Board of Education Meeting on August 10, 2017, Kourtney Shuler was recognized for her recent participation in the AHSAA North vs South All-Star Cross Country Race. She helped the North team defeat the South. 

Miss Kourtney is a senior at Ohatchee High School where she plays basketball and runs indoor and outdoor track.
