Calhoun County School District

Dedicated to excellence in education

  • Calhoun County students will return to in-person learning on Monday, September 20, 2021.  After much consideration, the Calhoun County Board of Education has decided that Calhoun County Schools will implement a mask mandate beginning Monday, September 20, 2021 that will continue through Friday, October 29, 2021. Additionally, the mandate will be reviewed at the Calhoun County Board Meeting on October 28, 2021.  The hope is that the number of positive Covid 19 cases will continue to decrease by wearing masks for this timeframe.  Currently, federal law mandates that masks must be worn on public transportation which includes school buses.  In addition, our mask mandate includes all indoor activities.  Masks are not mandated at outside events where social distancing is encouraged.
