Mrs. Gina Whiting

Welcome to Ohathcee 6th Grade Math!

It is my joy and pleasure to teach math to the wonderful sixth graders at Ohatchee Elementary School.  I have taught school almost 25 years in South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, And Alabama.  My family and I moved to Alabama in 2000 and I have taught since then in Calhoun County schools.

My husband and I reside in Wellington.  We have two sons, Zachary and Jacob.  Zachary finished University of Alabama in Birmingham in Nursing.  He is a trauma/ER nurse in Huntsville. He is also a deputized officer for Madison County.   Jacob played baseball for the University of Montevallo.  He graduated this spring from UM with a degree in accounting.  He currently lives in Atlanta and is working in set design/production  for movies.  He just completed work on Godzilla 2 and is now working on the set of Ant Man 2.  We attend Church of the Highlands in Gadsden.  I love traveling and college football.
