WELCOME TO 2nd GRADE
ALL ABOUT YOUR TEACHER...
My name is Angie Loucks and I teach 2nd grade here at Ohatchee Elementary School. I am married to Dee Loucks, and we have been married for 15 years. We have two son's, Kaleb Lackey, he is 19 years old, and graduated from Ohatchee High School in 2019. He is currently working for The City of Oxford, and is attending Alabama Fire College. Our other son is Konner Loucks, he is 13 years old and in the 8th Grade, and also attends Ohatchee High School. He currently plays Junior High Football and Basketball. We also have a baby, a 10 year old "Black Lab", named Buddy! We are members of Life Church of Oxford, where we are actively involved. My husband is in Ministry and sings on the Praise Team and I am with the Children's and Women's Ministry. Both of our sons are also actively involved, and are leaders in their Youth Groups. We are also part of the Missions Team...a part of my heart is in Tanzania, Africa where I hope to live one day, (I have visited there 6 different summers) and...I LOVE teaching children here, in the U.S., AND in Africa! I have been teaching for 23 years! I am thrilled to teach at this school and I am so grateful to have; what I believe as, the best job in the world! I am very eager to work with you and get to know each and every one of you better. I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! They are going to learn so many new things and we're going to have so much fun together! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at all! I promise to love your child just like my very own! I am looking forward to making lots of fun memories...I know with your help and support from home, this is going to be an amazing school year! Thank you in advance for your support!
...Always remember...no matter if you think you "CAN", or if you think you "CAN'T"...YOU'RE RIGHT!!!
