Julie Price

I enjoy teaching high school students. When a child enters my classroom, they become my kid too. I care about developing them as a whole person. Their character and integrity mean just as much to me as their academic progress. I try to convey that to each of them daily as I teach Biology. Biology is a passion for me. I have always loved nature and science thus find my job fulfilling in many dimensions. I hope that every student who passes my way knows that I care about them individually. I want to do all I can to help them grow into wonderful young man or lady.

When I am not in a school setting I am with family, outdoors or at a ballgame. I love family, watching my son play ball and watching him grow into a young man (my son graduated from White Plains in 2015 and is now in college/playing baseball)... AND I love my critters- BIG and Small! I have standard poodles who we have shown to their championship titles in the conformation ring...they are my fur kids...I have horses...that are my hooved babies...and adorable barn kitties...and a few other critters here and there. I enjoy being outside and being in nature camping, riding horses, kayaking...

Each year is always a new exciting adventure for me...even after 20 years of teaching. I can truly say, this was what I was called to do. I love teaching...I love kids...and teenagers are kinda cool :) AND...they never cease to amaze me!
