I grew up in Calhoun County.  I am a graduate of Alexandria High School.  I attended JSU & received a B.S in Secondary Education with a Major in Biology & a minor in History in 1995.  I taught at The Donoho School for one year, in a half day position.  I was able to accept a job that opened up in Feburary of 1997 at PVS, it was a half day position as well.  I did not return to The Donoho School the next year because my position at PVS became fulltime.  I completed a Masters degree in Secondary Science Education at JSU in 2006.

I am married to Jonathan Dease and we have two children, Laura and Jacob.  We live in Southside, so my children attend school there.
