Welcome! My name is Lauryn Young (Hall) and I am excited to be teaching English at Walter Wellborn High School. I currently teach 7th, 10th, and 11th grade. This is my first year in education after graduating from Jacksonville State University in 2023. I graduated from Southside High School in 2018. I am currently working on obtaining my Master's Degree from JSU and becoming a dual enrollment professor.

I was recently married to my husband, Garret Young, in December 2023. He is a social studies teacher, a football coach, and a wrestling coach at Cherokee County High School. In our free time, we are always watching some kind of sport or playing with our two dogs.
