Ms. Kendall Poe

My name is Kendall Poe and I am from Ragland, AL. I graduated from RHS in 2008, and attended Jefferson State on a full academic scholarship. I transferred to JSU in 2010 and graduated with a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Sciences. I completed my practicum and my student teaching here at Ohatchee under Coach Glenn Toney for the 2012-2013 school year. During that time, I also served on the softball coaching staff as pitching coach. After I graduated from JSU I was hired on here as the 9-10th grade History teacher! I currently am the Female PE teacher and also oversee the Female Athletics Strength and Conditioning.  I am the head Varsity Softball Coach, Director of Volleyball Operations, and co-sponsor of the SGA. When I am not on the Ohatchee softball field, I spend my time helping coach the Birmingham Mustangs 2030 travel softball team. I love to kayak, watch softball, cheer on Alabama (ROLL TIDE), and spend time with my family and our dog Porter. I am looking forward to another great year on the Creekbank! "Its ALWAYS a GREAT day to be an INDIAN!"
