Percussion Instructor - Randall McDonald
Randall McDonald is currently a music education major at Jacksonville State University. His primary instrument is percussion and he hopes to teach middle school band in the future. He is a graduate of White Plains High School and was a member of both their band and choir programs. He has been in the JSU marching Southerners front ensemble for 5 years and has participated in percussion ensemble, Latin ensemble, and steel band during his tenure there. His previous teaching experiences include White Plains Middle and High School, Ashville High School, and Rainbow Middle School. His favorite areas of percussion to teach are percussion ensemble and steel band.
Mrs. Carrie Maeger is a graduate of Albertville High School and Jacksonville State University. She was in the band and choir during high school and college. She has taught Pre-K through 6th grade General Music and 7th through 12th grade Choir. She is beginning her 13th year teaching. She is the Choir Teacher at Weaver and Ohatchee High Schools and is excited to begin her second year here. She is the Music Minister at Riddles Bend Baptist Church in Rainbow City and is married to Tim Maeger, the Youth Minister there. Mrs. Maeger enjoys assisting with the band and can't wait to see how successful students will be this year. Roll Tribe!
