• Poe

    Head Coach Kendall Poe is a 2008 graduate of Ragland High School. She was on the 2004 state championship team, won 6 area championships, and 4 regional championships. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2013 and was hired at Ohatchee as the 10-11 grade History teacher. She currently serves as the Female PE teacher and oversees Female Athletics Strength and Conditioning. Coach Poe served as pitching coach and assistant coach for 3 years before being named as head coach in the 2016 season. Under Coach Poe, the softball program has won 2 area championships, 2 area runner up finishes, made 4 regional championship appearances, and the school's first ever state tournament birth. She is the Director of Volleyball Operations and is co-sponsor of SGA. Coach Poe holds a master's degree from the University of West Alabama in Instructional Leadership. She resides in Southside. 

     

    Bowen

    Varsity Assistant Coach Rebecca Bowen graduated from Saks High School in 2012 where she played volleyball and softball. She was on the 2012 state championship team, won 2 area championships, 4 regional championships and had 4 state tournament appearances. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2016 and was hired on at Ohatchee Elementary in the kindergarten grade level and is currently the Pre-K teacher. Coach Bowen is also Head JV Volleyball coach. She is over catchers, outfield, and works with the hitters. She resides in Weaver with her husband, Zeke and her son Zane.
