MONETARY GIFTS:

Many of the classes at WPHS rely on research and instructional materials provided by the library. Your gifts enable us to provide the best online and print resourcces for our staff and students. Monetray gifts can be delivered to the school or mailed to: Deirdre Giddy @  White Plains Road, Anniston, Al.  36201.  Checks should be made payable to WPHS. Please indicate in the memo line that your gift is for the WPHS Library. All gifts may be given in honor or memory of a person of your choosing. 

Print & Media Donation Policy:

Gifts and donations to the school library are accepted with the undersatnding that the decision for use and disposal of the materials and/or funds will be determined using the same selection criteria as purchased materials.

All materials should support the currciulum and needs of library users. Gifts and donations, like purchased resources, will be removed from the collection at the end of their useful life.

The library will not accept any of the following for donation:

* Textbooks that are not currently part of the curriculum

* Encyclopedias

* Any items 20 years or older

* Books from other libraries, even if they were weeded
