School Improvement Projects

Thanks go out to our Board of Education members and Director of Maintenance and Operations, Mr. Dee Ingram, for their investment and work in maintaining and improving our school facilities. We are about two weeks away from the completion of an over $3.8 million project at Wellborn Elementary School (re-roofing and brick repair) and have recently completed a $1.6 million dollar re-roofing project at Wellborn High School.

On September 8th, we will hold our pre-construction meetings for our $3.8 million re-roofing project at White Plains High School and a $3.3 million window replacement and painting project at Saks Elementary. Both projects should begin in the very near future.

The future is bright for the Calhoun County Schools and we will continue to invest in our facilities as funding is available. We appreciate all of our Calhoun County for your support!
