My name is Chelsea Watson Mize. I attended Weaver K-12 and graduated Valedictorian in 2011. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Education Degree (English Language Arts) from JSU in 2015 and my Master's Degree in Library Media at JSU in December 2018. This is my fourth year teaching at Weaver. I coach the WHS Varsity and JV girls' soccer teams and also Junior High Volleyball. My hobbies include reading, singing, riding motorcycles, gymnastics, and soccer. My favorites include colors green and blue, young adult literature (especially Harry Potter), pepperoni pizza, chocolate chip cookies, and Eli Tomac (pro motocross rider). I have four Boxers (Rocky, Layla, Sadie, and R.J.) and a Husky (Maddie).

My family and I award THE Cody Watson Scholarship each year in the amount of $500 to a graduating WHS Senior in honor of my brother, Cody Watson, who lost his life in a car accident during his junior year (2010) at Weaver High School.
