The high school librarian is repsonsible for planning and implementing programs, selecting and providing materials and media, assisting teachers and students in the use of new technologies, assisting in curriculum development and integrating classroom work with the media center program, and regular evaluation of programs and materials. The high school librarian also oversees the media budget, determines educational goals, designs media center policies, and plans for upgrades of technology equipment in collaboration with the technology integration specialist and the technology department. 

 

The librarian also serves as the school Technology Coordinator.
