I am Mrs. Turner and this year marks my 27th year doing what I love - teaching grammar, reading, and writing skills to middle school students.  I currently teach 7th and 8th grade standard and preAP English.

     I am a 1983 graduate of Oxford High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, Language Arts from JSU.   My husand and I have been married 35 years and have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren.  We live in White Plains and are active in our church, Dearmanville Baptist.  

     In my spare time I love to read historical fiction, to write, swim, travel, and soak up the sunshine whenever I can.
