Welcome to the Alexandria Middle School webpage.  This is my 17th year as the middle school librarian at Alexandria.  Before entering the library, I taught 7th, 8th and 9th grade English.  I have a background in Communications And Language Arts so the library world is an environment that I truly enjoy.  

I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1991 with a BA degree in Communications and English and in 1996 with a MS degree in Secondary Education with emphasis in Language Arts. I completed the Masters program in Library Media in 2001.  I am married to Andy Shaw, and we have two children, Riley and Addie Grace.  We are active members of Church of the Cross in Annistion.
