Hello everyone! Welcome to my class webpage. This is my 17th year of teaching, and my 10th year in the Alexandria schools. I am currently the 5th grade special education teacher at Alexandria Middle School. The 5th grade team I teach with are an amazing group of ladies who are passionate about what they do. 

I am a proud graduate of Jacksonville State University where I received my Music Education degree (1999), Masters of Special Education (2003), and Education Administration (2007). I marched with the Marching Southerners (1995-1998) and still love to hear the sounds of the Southerners. I met my husband, Ben, in the band and we have been married since 2002. We love to attend Jacksonville State football games and cheer on the GAMECOCKS! 

I am blessed with 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Some of my hobbies are riding the Chief Ladiga Trail, scrapbooking, reading, and spending quality time in my hammock with my pound pooch Daisy Mae. I also love to watch soccer and fall time football!!!
