I have been a teacher at Pleasant Valley High School for 9 years and have taught a total of 21 years.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State University.  My Master's Degree, as well as my Education Specialist Degree, were obtained from the University of Alabama.  I love teaching math and building positive relationships with my students.  The classes I teach include Algebra 2 w/Trig, Discrete Math, Precalculus, ACT Prep, and Dual Enrollment Precalcusus (MS112 and MS113 through JSU).

I have been married to my husband, Greg, for almost 5 years.  He and his brother own Stormco in Alexandria.  My two daughter are Courtney Smith and Cassidy Smith.  Courtney is 24 years old and has received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and her Master's Degree from Jacksonville State University.  She is now the Director of Instuctional Support at a company called The Learning Tree.  Cassidy is 19 years old and is a Sophomore at Jacksonville State University.  Cassidy is planning to be an elementary school teacher.
