Welcome to SMS Library!  
 
     Our library has a collection consisting of over 6500 books, 200 videos and DVDs, and over 200 eBooks. We are also enrolled in the Alabama Virtual Library. We have campus and home access to AVL. The AVL provides our school and community with a wealth of online databases, and we rely heavily on it for periodical information. We have 18 computers in the library for student research and information gathering. All students and staff have a regular, ready access to media services, materials, and equipment.
   The Library Media Center operates on a flexible schedule. Students may visit anytime during the day to check out and/or use the computers for research. Teachers are free to schedule a time to bring their classes to the library for instruction, research, or reading. Our teachers and the librarian collaborate on specific subject matter to present to the classes. The library has just added eBooks to our circulation.
